Smita to launch Jodha Akbar jewelry
Pop singer Smita will be launching the exhibition of jewelry used for recently
released Jodha Akbar film. Tanishq – jewelry wing of TATA’s Titan group – has
designed the jewelry. The jewelry is on exhibition in Vijayawada at Fortune
Murali Park on 24 and 25 of May. Pop singer Smita is going to inaugurate it.
Victory release on 14 June
Nitin’s latest film Victory is going to release on 14 June. Mamata Mohandas is
doing female lead. Shashank and Sindhu Tolani play another pair. Ravi C Kumar
who directed commercial hit Samanyudu is directing this film. Music composed by
Chakri is already a chartbuster. Venkat produces this film on RR Moviemakers
banner.

Adlabs launched in Hyderabad
Adlabs Hyderabad is going to be opened for public from 23 May onwards. Built at
former Goldspot bottling area in Punjagutta, Adlabs Goldspot is a 3-screen
multiplex with combined seating capacity of 1045 spread over 45000 square feet.
It is located above Big Bazaar in GS 24 carat Mall. It has seven food kiosks, a
convenient parking facility, crystal-clear DTS sound, superior Xenon projection
systems, plush seats and the widest screens in the city. The opening films are
Bujjigadu, Dhoom Dhadakka, Ghatothgaj, Jannat, Chronicles of Narnia and Kantri.
The ticket rates are priced at Rs. 100 each at par with other multiplexes
Prasads and PVR Cinemas.
Aamir Khan visits Kadapa
Aamir Khan who is in Hyderabad to shoot for the Hindi remake of ‘Gajini’ in the
direction of Murugadoss has taken a day off to visit the famous darga in Kadapa
yesterday. He also participated in an Urdu poetry discussion over there. Popular
music director AR Rehman was also there along with Aamir Khan. Recently Abhishek
Bachchan and Aiswarya Rai too visited this Darga.
Ceded prints delayed for Bujjigadu
Prabhas’s latest film Bujjigadu was released with a great fanfare today all over
the world. Due to certain unforeseen situation, the prints to Ceded territory
were delayed. Hence the morning shows were cancelled in most of the areas. The
Tirupati show was started at 2 pm.
Kalidasu changes title to Rana
A Tamil flick starring Arjun and Kajal Agarwal is being dubbed and released in
Telugu. The producer titled it as Kalidasu for the Telugu version without
registering the title of AP film chamber of commerce. Meantime, the same title
was registered at film chamber for the launching pad of Sushant. Hence, the
producer of dubbing film had to change the name to ‘Raana’. This film will be
released soon.
