Bandh may affect Sarkar Raj release
RGV-Bacchans' film Sarkar Raj is releasing today (June 6th) under the shadow of
the statewide bandh by the opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh over hike in oil
and LPG cylinder prices. Seen as a multiplex and urban film, the film's morning
and noon shows are unlikely.
Tabu joins cover page heroines
After Shriya and Asin, now it's the turn of Tabu to run after the cover pages of
popular magazines. She is seen afresh in the current month (June) issue of Good
Housekeeping magazine, a Hearst Corporation publication with 55 lakh global
readership. She has cast an elegant look in her blazing red dress. Her
performance in NBK's Pandurangadu is considered too hot for the masses.
Debut hero wants more kids
Sushant, Nag's nephew who debuted with Kalidas, opined that parents should
concentrate on more on creating awareness among kids about cultural activities
such as music and dance. He was a guest at the valedictory session of a special
summer camp for kids, organized at the YMCA, Secunderabad. He emphasized the
need for providing more professional training to child artistes; and said that
opportunities on the big scree are wide-open for talented kid-artists. The hero
enjoyed the programme with catwalk, dance and music by kids.
Realtor-artistes as Vasthu advisors
Veteran artistes Murali Mohan and TS Vijaychander (Karunamayudu fame) have
turned Vasthu advisors to the Movie Artistes' Association, for construction of
its new premises in Hyderabad. Generally, the Vasthu advisors charge a fee of
their reputation for their services. Here, these artistes are doing it for free
in the welfare of their own organization. Both are well-established realtors in
city.

Game of August first week
Shooting of Mohan Babu n Vishnu combination film ‘Game’ was complete now. There
are only two songs of d film n these songs were shot of Bangkok of d
choreography of Ganesh Acharya. Parvati Melton was playing female lead. Joshua
Sridhar composed music n Marudhuri Raja penned dialogues. G Ram Prasad
(Chirunavvutho fame) directs tis film. tis film will be released of d first week
of August.
Teja - Kalyan Ram’s Lakshmi Kalyanam
Lakshmi Kalyanam was d title confirmed 4 Teja’s latest film with Kalyan Ram as
hero. tis film was being made by K Mahendra on Geeta Art Pictures banner. d
latest schedule started of Nankram Guda on 1st of tis month. Dasari Arun was
playing a vital role of tis film. RA Krishna handles cinematography. Teja has
given dialogues department to Paruchuri brothers. Shooting of tis film will be
completed of September 2006. RP Patnaik scores music.
Kulasekhar turns into direction
Popular lyricist Kula Sekhar who made his debut with Chitram film was making his
debut as film director now. He has chosen title of a song of ‘Muthyamantha
Muddu’ film. d title was ‘Premalekha Raasa’ with a caption ‘neekandi vuntadi’.
Venu - son of producer Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy (Bunny n Bhageeratha) was
making his debut as hero. Anjali was doing female lead. Sreeram Kaushik who
worked with Mani Sharma n RP Patnaik of d past was scoring music. 60% of d
shooting was complete so far. Kulasekhar was also providing dialogues 4 tis film
apart fr story, screenplay, lyrics n direction. tis film was being made on
Vijaya Durga films banner.
Janardhan Maharshi tunes into direction
Writer Janardhan Maharshi who provided stories n dialogues of d past was going
to direct a film soon. tis film will have Allari Naresh n Arti Chabria playing
main leads. tis film will be launched on 27th July. There would be two more
successful heroes n a heroine of tis film. Nivas n Veligonda Srinivas will pen
dialogues. Koti scores music. Polisetty Rambabu n Palli Kesava Rao produce tis
film on RS Films banner.
