Seenu Vytla to direct Nagarjuna
Seenu Vytla who proved himself with mass comedy flicks in the past is going to
direct Nagarjuna very soon. D
Siva Prasad Reddy who produced many blockbusters with Nagarjuna is going to
produce this film. Trisha will play
female lead. This film is likely to go onto the sets once Seenu Vytla completes
his work in ‘Ready’ featuring
Ram and Genelia.
Bujji to produce another Venky film
Nallamalupu Bujji who produced last years Sankranthi blockbuster Lakshmi is
going to produce another film with
Venkatesh. Yogi who directed Oka Raju Oka Raju with Ravi Teja and Namitha in the
main leads is going to direct
this film. Kona Venkat provides story and dialogues. This film will start in the
second half of January 2008.
Nallamalupu Bujji is called as the director with golden hand as his first two
films (Lakshmi an Lakshyam)
became blockbusters.
Anasuya on 21 December
Ravi Babu’s thriller Anasuya featuring Bhumika Chawla in the title role is going
to release on 21 December.
Abbas does the main lead. Ankita and Nikhita play other vital roles. Ravi Babu
also produces it on Flying Frogs
banner. D Suresh Babu presents it. The trailer released recently got tremendous
response.
Brahmanandam Drama Company
Palli Kesava Rao is producing the Telugu remake of Hindi flick Bhagambhag. This
film is titled as ‘Brahmanandam
Drama Company’. ‘Heroine Jump’ is the tagline. Brahmanandam does the title role.
Sivaji and Ravi Krishna play
main leads. Kamalinee Mukherjee and Sameeksha play female leads. I Srikanth who
directed Sriramachandrulu is
directing this film.
Zee Telugu on movie buying spree
Zee Telugu was going on a satellite rights buying spree in d last couple of
month. dat bagged almost all Telugu releases tat r slated 4 December/January. As
per d source of idlebrain.com, d list includes Bommarillu, Rakhi, Annavaram,
Sainikudu, Yogi, Munna, Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule n many more.
Two sister senti films in a week’s gap
Two of d big mass stars of Telugu cinema r coming up with sister sentiment films
in December. Pawan Kalyan’s Annavaram n NTR’s Rakhi r slated 4 d release on
29th December n 22nd December respectively. Annavaram literally translates into
English as ‘Brother’s gift’ n Rakhi was a symbol of relationship between
brother n sister. Krishna Vamsi was said 2 b addressing a burning social issue
with Rakhi. Bheemineni was directing d Telugu remake Annavaram after a gap of
almost a decade with Pawan Kalyan.
