Jalsa on 14 January
Major part of Pawan Kalyan’s latest film Jalsa in the direction of Trivikram is over. The pending part include
3 songs, 3 fights and 5 days of talkie. Pawan Kalyan is keen on finishing the remaining shoot by December and
make the film ready for the release by 14 January 2008. Trvikram has another commitment in the beginning of the
next year. Cinematographer Guhan too has another commitment of Tamil version of Happy Days. Ileana plays female
lead. Allu Arvind produces this film.

Mahesh Babu shows interest on Sekhar Kammula
In a recent interview Mahesh Babu expressed his willingness to act in the direction of Sekhar Kammula. He also
said that he likes the work done by new directors like Bhaskar (Bommarillu) and Sukumar. Mahesh Babu wants to
take rest for a couple of months before embarking on his next venture.

VVK and Bhajantrilu on 1st November
Uday Kiran’s latest film Viyyala Vari Kayyalu and MS Narayana directed Bhajantrilu are going to release on 1st
November. E Sathi Babu directed VVK and Lagadapati Sridhar produced it. MS Narayana directed Bhajantrilu after
making his debut as director with flop flick Koduku. The last one month had a hectic time for movie lovers as
three big flicks (Chirutha, Tulasi and Athidi) were released on the eve of Dasara. The next season will start
during Christmas with Don release and it will continue till Sankranthi 2008.

Vishnu uses advance fight equipment
Vishnu is in Tirupati now to shoot for his current film in the direction of P Vasu. An action sequence is being
canned on Vishnu and the fighters in college. Stun Siva is choreographing these action sequences. Vishnu is
supposed to jump from 100 meters. These sequences are generally shot using ropes. But Vishnu has imported an
equipment worth 20 lakhs for this purpose. These are called air beds. And it won’t hurt you even if you jump
from 100 meters. However, Vishnu has done all the purchase without the knowledge of the producer Mohan Babu.
Let’s see how Mohan Babu is going to react when they show budget to him.

Gemini bags Santosham awards rights
Gemini TV bagged the broadcasting rights of Santosham film awards function that is slated for 30 November in
Sharjah, Dubai. Gemini is also the main sponsor of the event. Hence this awards will be called as Gemini
Santosham awards. Incidentally, out of six functions organized by Santosham film magazine, 4 are broadcasted by
Gemini TV. Santosham film magazine which is known for celebration anniversaries and holding award functions in
grand scale is taking it to the next level by holding the function in Dubai for the first time.

Mr. Medhavi in December
National award winning director who directed entertainers like Show and Missamma is directing a film titled Mr.
Medhavi in which Raja is doing the title role. Genelia does the crucial role of NRI returned to Hyderabad.
Shooting of the film is almost complete. Music will be launched in November and the film is slated for the
release in December 2007.

First frame title is Gamyam
Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi is making his debut as film director with a film titled Gamyam. This film sports
Sharvanand and Allari Naresh in the main leads. Kamalinee Mukherjee plays female lead. Jagarlamudi Sai Babu who
produced Sambhavami Yuge Yuge and Ragam (Telugu version of Morning Raga) is producing this film on First Frame
entertainments banner. Anil who scored brilliant music for Sambhavami Yuge Yuge composes music for this film
too.

Prabhu Deva 2 direct Chiranjeevi?
As per d latest rumors going around in Hyderabad, Prabhu Deva was being considered as d director 4 Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
tis film was going 2 b remade in Telugu as Shankar Dada Zindabad with Chiranjeevi as hero. Vidya Balan was expected 2 play d female lead. A high profile hero
was expected 2 do d role of ATM (circuit) in tis film.

Annavaram shoot almost complete
The shooting of Pawan Kalyan’s Annavaram film was almost complete except 4 a couple of songs. A song was being canned at present in Hyderabad. Audio of tis
film wil b released in d first week of December. Movie wil hit d marquee on 29th December 2006.
