Pepsi signs Allu Arjun
It is reliably learnt that Telugu film star Allu Arjun is roped in as the brand
ambassador for Pepsi. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan were the first film stars to
be roped into to promote Thums Up and Pepsi respectively in AP. Now Mahesh Babu
is the brand ambassador of Thums Up. It were state level dealers of the cola
companies that selected Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. This time around the cola
companies directly approached the stars.
Madan to direct Uday Kiran
Madan who provided story to Aa Naluguru and directed his first film Pellaina
Kothalo recently is going to direct another film too. This film is expected to
have Uday Kiran doing the main leads. Madan will also produce this film on his
banner ‘Aa Naluguru films‘.
Dhee 100 days function on 8 September
The 100 days function of surprise hit of the year Dhee will be held at Lalitha
Kala Thoranam on the night of 8 September. This film stars Vishnu, Srihari and
Genelia in the main leads. Seenu Vytla directed this film. Lots of film
celebrities from Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi film industry are expected to
grace this grand function.
Sivaji as State Rowdy
Sivaji who has been acting in many films this year is currently doing a film
titled State Rowdy (Veedikantha scene ledu). Mallika Kapoor and Madhu Shalini
play female leads. Shooting of the film is almost complete. This film is a
remake of Tamil hit flick Ediri. Vikram Gandhi directs this film.K Srinivas and
JV Uma Maheswara Rao produce this film on Galaxy Multimedia banner.
