Bhumika Chawla as Anasuya
After playing title roles like Missamma and Satyabhama, Bhumika Chawla is all
set to do another female oriented film titled Anasuya. This film is directed by
Ravi Babu (Allari fame). This film was launched today. Bhumika Chawla plays the
role of a TV channel reporter. It is a thriller. Sekhar Chandra composes music.
Abbas and Nikhita are playing other important roles. Paruchuri brothers provide
screenplay. Ravi Babu also produces this film. Shooting of Anasuya will be
completed by 10 August.

Bala Krishna birthday in Rajahmundry
Bala Krishna is currently in Rajahmundy in the shooting of Okka Magadu film. He
will be celebrating his birthday on 10th June in Rajahmundry. This function will
take place at 9:30 am in Subramanyam ground, Rajahmundry in the presence of his
fans. Lots of Bala Krishna fans from all over Andhra Pradesh are planning to
visit Rajahmundry to wish their favorite hero on 10 June.
Raasi’s hubby turns director
Actress of yesteryears Raasi got married to SS Nivas a couple of years back. She
is going to introduce Nivas a director for a film to be produced by Raasi and DS
Rao. This film sports Rishi, Anu Mehta and Poonam Singar in the main leads. Sai
Kumar plays a vital role. Sri composes music. This film will be launched on 9
July.
Operation Duryodhana catches up
Operation Duryodhana - the second directorial venture of writer Posani Krishna
Murali is going to become a gaining proposition. Ripe with political
controversies, this film is attracting good patronage in the first week of
release. This film is made on a low budget and is still managing housefuls in
places like Hyderabad, Vizag and Vijayawada. The censor board gave several cuts
on the film and they found that the producer added the cuts in the released
prints. This led to further controversy.
